Membership

The Girls Mentoring Collaborative is a membership-based association of girl-serving organizations and champions, collectively serving girls in the metro Atlanta area.

Together, we’re forging a growing movement of girl-serving organizations that are more connected, more effective, and better able to prepare today’s girls to be the leaders, agents of change and thriving women of tomorrow. Join us and become a part of the movement today!

There are four types of memberships.

Organizational Membership — $150 annually

Any public or private agency that spends at least 25% of its annual budget on girls’ services is eligible for a regular membership. A hardship rate is available for agencies that really, truly can’t afford the regular membership fee. As an agency member you receive:

  • Free admission to Girls Mentoring Collaborative workshops & member events
  • Discounted tickets for all agency staff to the Annual Conference
  • Greater exposure to funders and supporters
  • A comprehensive listing in the Girls Mentoring Collaborative Online Directory
  • Access to all GMC online resources
  • Access to the GMC listserv and all online discussion groups
  • Participation in GMC committees and governance
  • Access to membership benefits to all agency staff members

Individual Membership — $50  annually

Any person who believes in girls and young women and supports the goals of Girls Mentoring Collaborative is eligible for an individual membership. As an individual member you receive:

  • Opportunities to volunteer and/or support the work of girl-serving organizations
  • Recognition as a champion of girls and young women
  • Free admission to Girls Mentoring Collaborative workshops & member events
  • 1 discounted ticket to the Annual Conference
  • Access to all GMC online resources
  • Access to the GMC listserv and all online discussion groups

Professional Membership —$100 annually

Any licensed professional service provider who cares for girls as a significant part of their practice is eligible for a professional membership. This includes therapists, doctors, coaches, or any licensed professional who subscribes to a professional code of ethics.  As a professional member you receive:

  • Opportunities to connect with and promote your services to the GMC community
  • Free admission to Girls Mentoring Collaborative workshops & member events
  • Discounted tickets for you and your staff to the Annual Conference
  • A comprehensive listing in the Girls Mentoring Collaborative Online Directory
  • Access to all GMC online resources
  • Access to the GMC listserv and all online discussion groups
  • Access to membership benefits for your employees who are also licensed professionals

Institutional Membership — $400 annually

Any institution, such as a foundation, small business, or corporation, that is not a girl-serving organization but supports the goals and purposes of the Girls Mentoring Collaborative is eligible for an institutional membership. The designated representative(s) of your institution will receive:

  • Free admission to Girls Mentoring Collaborative workshops & member events
  • Discounted tickets for all staff to the Annual Conference
  • Access to all Girls Mentoring Collaborative online resources
  • Prominently featured logo on Girls Mentoring Collaborative website
  • Access to the Girls Mentoring Collaborative listserv and all online discussion groups
